Pine Needle Cough Syrup & Sore Throat Sorbet
Sore throats, aching coughs, and congestion are never fun. But a homemade cough syrup can help ease the pain and you can even enjoy it at the same time!
Pine needles have long been used for their medicinal properties that help work as a natural expectorant and decongestant. Pine needles help to expel mucus and phlegm while soothing a sore throat.
Thyme has long been trusted for its antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties and can also be used as a sore throat remedy. It also gives these cough drops an enjoyable aromatic herbal taste.
Juniper berries also have anit-viral compounds that can be helpful for upper respiratory tract infections, colds, and flu.
